Samurai Sushi Boat provided the venue for a fine Mother's Day dinner out. Sitting side by side at a counter facing the sushi chefs, the family was treated to a regatta of boats bearing the delectables they created. As the sushi dishes paraded by, we pulled them off the boats, sampling and exploring the repertoire.

While most of us were content with the ebi (shrimp), california rolls, ninja rolls, gyoza and so forth, the udon noodles with chicken suited our 8 year old just fine. The prizes under some of the dishes gets the youth vote, too!

Samurai Sushi Boat will likely never win any awards for their sushi. But on this evening, our objective was family dining; training wheel fare for the kids and some good food for the grups. And Samurai Sushi Boat met all of those objectives.
